Our Team

jewel warrior team

Jewel Warriors was launched in February 2019 by Grace Smith, Co-director and Founder of Camp David International.  This Jewel Warrior project is a branch of Camp David of the Ozarks, a 501c3 non-profit organization with a board of directors. While Grace is the volunteer leader, she is excited to begin building a team of leaders so many more women can be reached.

Jewel Warrior’s team of writers are overcomers in daily life. From being couragous moms to being single on purpose, each has owned their stories and are taking steps to shine. Some have overcome the hardest and most painful challenges women can experience: the incarceration of loved ones, abuse, addictions, depression, long term health issues, and much more. These are extraordinary women who are rising above their pain and renewing, rebuilding, reinventing, and reinvesting their lives to empower others.

Jewel Warriors have answers to life’s desperate problems because our foundation is built on Jesus’ words: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” His truth is our way of doing life, which transforms us. We are passionately seeking God, knowing He has the keys to life. He is our Hope.

Writers

My dream is to connect women around the globe to empower each other. We are building our team of writers with the goal of having 31 women writing once a month. I applaud these writers for their vulnerability, courage, and love. Love overcomes the fear of being real. This isn’t about being in each other’s business, or comparing each other, this is about championing each other on in our journeys. We are not rivals and this is not a competition. We need women from all backgrounds and races, with all their scars, to show up for these conversations. No one should push through life alone.  No one recovers alone. We are stronger together. We are an army of warriors.

You can write.

Do you journal often, and dream of being published? Maybe you are already published, but are wanting to expand your circle of influence. I invite you to fill out the Contact Form to the right, so we can meet and go from there! Our goal is to have a team of women who can be real, who are seeking God, and who will offer real-life solutions to those who are renewing, rebuilding, and reinvesting their lives after challenges. Wherever a woman may be on her spiritual journey, Jewel Warriors exists to be a trusted friend who understands the challenges she faces, walks by her side, and encourages her as she walks toward the heart of God.
