Are you a God's Girl?
The journey of being a God’s girl is not just saying a prayer as your ticket out of hell, it’s an invitation to open the door of your heart to a relationship with Jesus. Invite Him in, sit and talk about your day with Him, and let yourself be enveloped in His love.
It’s about falling in love.

The world is always throwing out questions about God, “How could a loving God allow so much pain?” The reality though is God created a perfect world where He walked every day with the first humans He made. Then they choose to listen to the enemy and sinned, and that’s when everything went downhill.
But God. God knew Adam and Eve would sin, and He already had a plan to reconcile us - to restore us. God isn’t cruel or an angry judge, in fact there is NOTHING– absolutely nothing we can do to stop Him from loving us. He calls us His Beloved, and His love is like a fire– a passion—that won’t relent. He sees us as His beautiful daughters who HE choose for this time in history. He knows how many hairs are on our heads and He sees all our tears that fall in the middle of the night. He is inviting us to belong to His family and He has a place at the table for you. Will you accept His invitation?
How to Become a God’s Girl
Here are steps to make this most important decision.
Admit and Acknowledge. The first step is to get real. You’ve got to admit that you have done things that displease God– called sin. You have to acknowledge that you need a power bigger than yourself to help you to live fully alive. So you tell God that you know you are a sinner in need of His mercy. 1 John 1:9 “But if we confess
our sins to him, he can be depended on to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. And it is perfectly proper for God to do this for us because Christ died to wash away our sins.”
Believe. It’s a choice to believe. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” He wants to give you LIFE because he LOVES you. Jesus died so that He could give us the gift of eternal life– or life in heaven with Him. We can’t earn our ticket to heaven, we have to believe that Jesus took the punishment for our sin when He died on the cross, and believe that He paid our debt. This is where you tell God you believe that Jesus paid the debt for your sins and that you believe He is the way, the truth and the life. John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Choose and Confess. After we decide to believe that Jesus is the way, we have to put some action behind that. We get to choose to follow Jesus, and then tell others about our choice. Some people do this when they get
baptized, others call some friends. It’s important to speak up and use your voice about your choice to become a
God’s girl. Romans 10:9 “For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in
your own heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

A New Way of Life
This isn't a one time prayer or decision. Every day is a choice to say YES to Jesus, and to follow Him. Here are some tools to help you on your journey.

Discover who you are as a God’s girl. Because of Jesus, we have a new identify. Jesus has a box of treasures for us and we get to discover what they are. We are not powerless when we are God’s girls. We are worthy because He made us worthy. Become curious and discover more about Him and your destiny. 1 Peter 2:9 “But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.”​

Be Empowered by God’s spirit. God gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit to give us direction and to comfort us. To give us boldness, and strength to live for God, and not ourselves. We become empowered by the Holy Spirit when we ask Him to fill us. As a God’s girl we let go of whatever pulls us away from God, and then we invite the Holy Spirit to fill us. Eph 3:16 “I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.”

Fill your friend circle with other God’s girls, study God’s word, listen to music that helps you praise God, and stir up your faith. We will become discouraged and disappointed but we keep getting back up and going back to God’s truths because we keep re-filling ourselves with His love. Hebrews 10: 24-25 “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another.”
